'Sarah' TRA Rape Responses

'Sarah' - TRA rape responses

Women built the refuges and the peer support and crisis centres. They did it generations before 'cis' was applied to  differentiate between female women and male transwomen.
Males commit the vast, vast majority of sex crimes. Transitioning doesn't change offending patterns. There are countless examples of males abusing others and using a trans identity as a shield, using dysphoria as mitigation and reported as women

No race commits 98% of sex crimes.

As a white woman, I'm far closer to a Black, Asian, Indigenous or any other woman than I am to a any man.

Sex, along with age, are the only meaningful dichotomy within humans. Sex separates us in a way race, sexuality, religion and class does not.

Race need never divide us in a just society. Sex always will.

Refuges and rape support charities have been hounded by activists, abroad and at home
A survivor of domestic violence who had actually lived in a refuge was harassed and abused within the liberal democrats (more here) for saying these should be single sex.

Stonewall produced a completely fallacious report into attitudes of those who run refuges on allowing transwomen to access them. Funding is threatened by not explicitly toeing the line.

While many of us may have compassion for transwomen who require these services (certainly I do) I would suggest it is high time the wealthy trans movement stepped up and addressed these needs. It is not a secret that among those claiming a trans identity are bad faith actors who have nefarious intentions.

Having experienced something similar myself, and seen a woman with a very similar story to mine be abused on Twitter for sharing her concerns, I thought gathering the abusive, disingenuous and taunting responses of trans activists (note - men's rights activists also joined in, albeit in far fewer numbers, but I have only included those defending trans 'inclusivity') to demonstrate the ruthlessness of these people is important.

This is Sarah's story:
Sarah was struggling with the traumatic effects of sexual violence.
After seeking out group therapy she attended five sessions at The Survivor's Network and found them helpful, as well as feeling she was beginning to bond with the other women. On the sixth group, having been urged to be 'especially welcoming' to a new member, a tall, ostensibly all male person entered. Sarah was asked to share her history of abuse while the 'transwoman' just listened.
The Survivor's Network has other groups for men and trans people. This male had decided to attend the women's group.

Inevitably, Sarah questioned why this person was there. Via The Daily Mail'My paranoid side makes me think they were there for voyeuristic reasons. My rational side thinks they were probably there because they need help.'

So, "Sarah wrote a long, carefully considered letter of complaint to the charity.

'Please understand this is not a personal attack on the individual group member but an account of how their inclusion felt for me,' she explained."

Carys Jenkins, head of operations at the charity, replied with these words of weasels;
'We do not police gender and we do not define who is and is not a woman; we allow women to define this for themselves.'
🙄
In feminist publication 4W, Sarah is described as being "abused between the ages of 8 and 12 and then sexually assaulted when she was an adult" and that "the arrival disrupted the dynamic of the support group, but she was simply told that he had "as much a right to be there" as the women.

"Some women had been abused as children so obviously we had that shared experience of being a girl and abused by a man," she said.

"But after the arrival of the trans-identified male, Sarah noticed that the women became increasingly uncomfortable discussing the issues of their trauma, adding: "It felt like the priority of the group was not to talk about male entitlement any more or our shared experiences, but about making sure this person who was born male felt comfortable."

The trans-identified male was "... over 6ft tall, had a deep voice, wore casual trousers and a sweatshirt and had no obvious female attributes." Sarah said there were no outward physical signs that the male was transitioning to a woman, and he did not volunteer any comment about any sexual abuse he may have suffered"

There are Reddit boards that detail infiltrating rape therapy groups to hear the distressing stories of victims to enjoy - even that anti-feminist rag Jezebel warns about it. Here is one example:

Sarah shares a thread from Survivor's Network on how thoughtful they are to trans clients.

So, here begins the response from TRA Twitter, starting with the ridiculous claims feminists want genital inspections

Julie of the renowned Steph's Place

A few examples of the response from people with pronouns in bio

Discussing the situation = identifying this reprehensible, creepy man, according to 'Jaz'

They delight in other ways to disturb us

They suggest no one can really be sure are they looking at a man or a woman.
They just call us bigots

SURVIVOR'S NETWORK
Do that vital damage control, blocking Sarah and tweeting passive-aggressive statements with comments disabled

We will not be engaging in ScARE qOUtE debate

Sarah is accused of braggingWhere is she bragging?
Yes, she responded to some comments on Mumsnet

Survivor's Network up their game:

TRAs continuously retweet to 'inspire' others to join in, misrepresenting her wildly

They tell us to build our own refuges, since they captured the ones we already have via abuse and Stonewall's gaslighting

This woman⬆️ like several others, decides since she believes she can completely understand Sarah's situation and would not be triggered. she is superior

The repulsive and comically deluded Julie Montoya...

The lovely Mags actually gets this incorrect - Sarah was not offered 1-2-1 counselling. She was told it was a possibility but had a two year waiting list, and after asking about forming a real woman only group they blocked her and removed her from their services

Sarah is patently a compassionate person with no axe to grind against trans people

Sian Lacey Taylder; trans, a rape survivor and decent

Several Twitter accounts become infused with anger or, even, alleged support for TERFs to self segregate (see Refuges; The Reassurances of Hostages to see how that goes...)

And after demanding that feminists start the refuge and rape crisis centres again from scratch, simultaneously gloating that it is unlawful

Jaz here particularly feels able to dictate
advice on the law, as well as anything else

Lucie is another vociferous Twatter, and mocks Ann Sinnot's earlier attempt at clarification and enforcement of the law via judicial review

You've no right to anything and it's a stupid demand:

(Just for people's information, Jasmine is a liberal democrat who is party membership secretary and was an equality ambassador on the 50:50 parliament program until resigning in disgust over some rampant 'transphobia'. Jas has even been put up for election. Consider how he speaks k to 'Sarah', and then consider Jas' online behaviour...

Poor Jas was blackmailed with 'intimate, topless pictures' which the existence of is genuinely terrifying)

The classic TRA gotcha

Even though Sarah and Julie Bindel's plan to insist on female-only support or lose funding is strawmanned as breaking rape crisis centres, it's fine to do the reverse according to Katy...

...(anyone remember Vancouver Rape Relief, Monklands, Rise..? It's a well worn tactic of trans activists, and Brighton now has no service which utilises the exemption)

They compare us to segregationists and Jim Crow era white supremacists - as if there is any comparison.

They defend the situation, they say it is the correct application of the law, they condemn 'Sarah' relentlessly but they also claim it is a lie

 WEAPONISING TRAUMA
Women have no legitimate feelings or belief. They're manipulative and untrustworthy
Weaponised trauma

Accuse her of harassment

They turn their minds to forcing feminists who defend Sarah out of work...

Julie Bindel shares the story...

I know, right? Why should a survivor of multiple sexual assaults be treated with care?

Amz / Amy was one of many inspired to pontificate

One woman speaks in her defence;

So they twist again;
'The person we were told to welcome was clearly a male and made no effort to appear otherwise, was 6 foot tall in men's clothes'
becomes Sarah holding an archaic definition of gender

She knew it was 'inclusive so what's her problem?
Answer - she joined a group which was women only. When she was informed a transwoman would be attending (they explicitly told her to be welcoming) she still attended. She left when her gut instinct told her to
Why Julie Bindel would want this is anyone's guess

Yes, why should she have a female support group , as intended by those who built them?

Gleefully twisting her words

Then retweeting her under the category of a rape denialist, because she had made a comment regarding UK law

Responding to this then creates a new wave of quote tweets to gather the mob
(Lucie falls prey to their frantic, livid responses, says stupid things and threatens litigation)

It's always a set up, women are deceitful and cry for sympathy. But also it's all fine. It's the right way to operate and she is no victim. But probably a liar.

English law does stipulate a penis is necessary for the crime of rape. Women can and have been prosecuted for accessory and there is also Assault by Penetration
Rape is a specific crime. Other forms of sexual assault are not necessarily less horrific . However, the rate of female on female sexual assault is far lower, and the dynamics different . Some women feeling unsafe around other women does not justify allowing males into women's spaces!

Bar her from rape crisis centres;
More 'genital inspections'

Of course they also enjoy just lying and misrepresentation

Ký$? = Kill yourself - actual suicide baiting

Lily Cade, Rose West, Myra Hindley& Vanessa George are favourites, because they are the only female offenders they can think of. ALL COMMITTED THEIR CRIMES WITH MEN

"I'M SARAH FROM THE STORY" is obviously too good not to quote tweet to followers

ORIGINAL SIN decides 'Sarah' gave information that could identify the supposedly trans service user

Pile on to any others with similar stories (continued at end of blog)
It's just like seeing the ex at a gathering...
Oh you caught us - genocide was always the aim 🙄
Yes, just like the Nazis ...

Sarah did not, in fact, get one-to-one support. They offered to put her on a waiting list for it, but declined due to their offensive attitude

Who doesn't love the common or garden brocialist?

For days following they relentlessly continue to harass and abuse her

No reply, because the questions are meant to end the debate

Speaking of not answering ...

Fascinating that they are steadfastly refusing to accept most people know a man from a woman when we see one.
From there we have other theories emerging; she hates tall women, women in casual clothes; there's no evidence it was a transwoman (still, she's clearly identified this 'other woman')

The "I am Jaz" show continues

By mentioning this individual was of masculine appearance, over 6 foot, and in typically male attire, the tras happen upon a brilliant gotcha - we don't owe you femininity; How shallow; how despicable to judge; I'm a woman in jeans ad nauseam

'Privilege'

'In the kindest way possible...' from Amy, who earlier called her a bigot and days later is RT'ing Sarah to her ravenous followers, suggests one to one, because she was offered it (by the group who already pressured her to detail her sexual abuse experience and told her to centre the male) or, I guess, just pay?

Any excuse to repeat the 'all women' trope

LIB FEMS with pronouns in bio dont fully understand realities of life and hardship shocker
'We terrified the left-wing media out of covering these stories, so it makes you Daily Mail apologists and that's fascism. Only when we allow it shall you have a voice'

Joss Prior

Morgane Oger gets a juxtaposed with a fabulous, genuine, kind transwoman

Once one utters the word 'grift' all must follow

Imagine being the woman in Matt's profile picture

Cursed e, who enjoys making sexualized threats to women

Providing a safe, trigger free space where women can heal together not 'proportionate'

y

POLITICS FOR ALL share the story;

Finally, the other women brave enough to share
