Victim Voyeurism & Denial - Survivors, Sarah & Slander
I've read, argued, debated and questioned a lot online. I've noticed a particular contingent's praxis seem to be fixed around this formula:
A claim
for example "no one would..."
+
A scenario that's probably uncommon but far from impossible - in fact it almost certainly has already happened
=
The trans activist's whole fucking argument
(+ a sprinkling of moral opprobrium befitting the clergy to shift the decimal point, ramping up the hyperbole with misrepresentation of opponent and expressing incredulity at naysayers )
Examples being;
- 'No one would go through all of the effort to transition, just to attack women in the ladies!' ('all the effort to transition' being making an assertion or wearing a wig).
- 'No one would be put off by a door sign if they were intent on raping a woman in a changing room.'
- 'No one would claim to be transgender to escape jail.'
It's pitiful, because there are endless examples of the above occuring.
Oh, here's another common one:
- 'No one would lie about being trans and having been sexually assaulted to infiltrate a rape crisis peer support group.'
Firstly, let me be very clear: I am not saying that this is the motivating factor of the male person in Sarah Summers' rape crisis group.
Fetishizing the idea of being abused or suffering pain / a loss only possible for another group is far from out-there among those with paraphilias, though, and women who are afraid, uncomfortable, startled or maybe even going out of their way to welcome and accommodate could be extremely high up in the hierarchy of targets.

A feature of autogynephilia is subverting cultural norms and breaching boundaries. Presumably, for a particular kind of sex offender that's a pretty critical motivation too.
I'm highly suspicious of any transwoman who would want to be in that situation. All of the transwomen I know suffer dysphoria. They would want somewhere to go, but to trigger a response due to their maleness is something they themselves would find traumatic, let alone the upset they would cause. I know, because I've spoken to them.
Autopaedophilia is an extremely common feature of paedophilia. It's an erotic target location error like autogynephilia, and can be seen frequently within online kink communities, with the trans community particularly over represented. Men dressed as babies in play parks; chat boards used by paedophiles will often be found to have many fantasy conversations where one man plays along as a child.
It's a common defence in child sexual abuse cases;
Former Labour Councillor Roger Spackman was found with over a million images of child sexual abuse after authorities targeted a paedophile chat room where he was pretending to be a young girl suffering sexual abuse in an "exchange of kinks".
He claimed it was due to his own history of abuse and gender dysphoria. He had found it 'therapeutic' to imagine being a little girl, which apparently entails being abused by adult men, and talking about it to other adult men for their masturbatory needs. What else are women and girls for?
Graham / Gillian Newley claimed to be looking at images of little girls being sexually abused as “she wanted to know what it would be like to be a female child as she missed out” and not for sexual gratification.
David Challenor is chock-full of depraved perversions. During the hideous, warped cruelty he inflicted on a little girl, he dressed in diapers, adult-sized baby clothes with bonnet and demanding to be called "Lucy."
Anthony Scales is another.
And these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, having collated The Rich Fantasy.
Or, how about Gabrielle Darone, joining groups for women suffering miscarriage to talk about how his inability to become pregnant is crippling him, and he doesn't have any other way of coping than to simulate a whole pregnancy and birth - to a still born baby (work commitments, obvs)?
That sort of depravity is far from rare among fetish communities and I'm afraid to say that the T crowd are often pretty into all that, whether it's "queering motherhood" or any number of other things.

Why are sexually violent or transgressive porn genres (such as incest) so keen to assert their realness?
Why are real life horrors uploaded to platforms like PornHub? Why would anyone risk not just taking, but sharing the recordings of abduction and rape they committed, as happened to Rose Kalemba, Avri Sapir and god knows how many others?
Some are as depraved as Przemyslaw Jakubowski, who raped a woman, and then masturbated during her testimony in an Irish court.

For me, the idea that a fetishist wouldn't find it arousing to hear female rape victims pushed to divulge their trauma is nothing but naivete. Or perhaps something much worse.
To suggest that Sarah is so incompetent she can sit with someone for an hour and not know the difference between a woman, a vulnerable transwoman presenting in good faith, and a creepy man in bog standard clothing who makes no effort at all, is insulting beyond belief.
But, this is always the starting and end point - denial, ridicule and angry counter-claim sliding to an eventual avalanche shedding of excuses, leaving just a blank-faced nonchalance, a slack jawed incredulity that anyone would have an issue with that anyway, as there is no subsection of men who would try to exploit situations. Women can, and should, just brush off their small town prudishness and put that man's recovery at the fore.
Now we have this gross facet of male fetishism established, I'm getting close to asking The Survivor's Network some questions.

If rape victim's statements were readily available online, does anyone doubt that this could result in their sharing and use among offenders or fantasists?

When rapists were still permitted to cross-examine their alleged victims in court, what did we imagine they were getting out of that, aside from the obvious intimidation?

Maybe it was due to his psychopathy, and his need for insight into how to act distressed convincingly. Maybe it was all part of his "upstanding citizen" schtick. Maybe he, as a sexual sadist and rapist serial killer, enjoyed hearing people's despair.

“Everything about the Wi Spa was a bunch of garbage and lies,” Merager said in an interview. She says she is legally female in California"
"“She never saw me naked. I was underwater with water all the way up to my chest.” Merager denies ever being erect or around children at the spa. She says she is actually the victim of sexual harassment by transphobic women at the Wi Spa."

Now this is being painted as a set up, a different set of arguments have emerged.
The reports of there being no transwoman at the spa at the time of the incident is being trotted out ad nauseam, but they could be identifying as simply a woman.
Does it matter?
Well, obviously the truth matters, and while I don't believe for a moment this was staged (thus far another five women have come forward to say the same, some of the online reviews predate this by over a year, the spa released a statement at the time...) there is a way in which it's irrelevant. We know that the law in California allows this scenario, and we've also had two weeks of trans activists shouting that getting upset over the exposure is a hate crime; "don't look, bigot/pervert"
We are going to do another, more general piece on the glorification and justification of trans activists to breach boundaries and demands that women acquiesce as part of the #SRM - Sexual Rights Movement series.
There are constant demands that come from the trans rights activist lobby, but as this incident at WiSpa has just emerged I thought I'd put all of this in one place.
The vilification of women who want / need single sex services is intense; we are prudes, uptight hags, ridiculous, hysterical pearl-clutchers. The idea of a little girl being in any way unsettled, frightened or traumatised by witnessing a naked man with a semi erect penis, who by the nature of his behaviour is clearly not dysphoric, is laughable to those who see any mention or reference to biological sex as harmful and likely to result in trans people's suicide.
These are the things they said would never happen. It's interesting to see the tactical retreat from denial that it could happen, to acceptance it has, with a new load of whataboutery and victim shaming instructions on not to look at the potential threat in front of you.
If a little girl can't go to a woman's spa, where other women are naked, without the danger of a bearded man waltzing in and sitting on the edge of the Jacuzzi she is in with his legs spread and his genitals at eye-level, then there is a problem.
I would also like to take this moment to condemn the right wing, MAGA-chanting men who also have tried to use this incident as a soapbox to shout from.
Let women speak. Listen to women. Stop telling women expressing their upset, concern, trauma and anger they are oppressive.
Women hold far less power in this scenario, in most scenarios. This is evident from the 'anti fascist' bastards who saw this as an opportunity to unleash their violence and demands and the MAGA pricks. It's evident from the whole online conversation. Telling anyone to quell their instinctive responses to threats is abusive and an integral part of rape culture (beautifully explained here)
This occured in a Korean spa - specifically, a Jacuzzi. Among their group is an eight year old girl. A (purportedly) transwoman enters, completely naked, and the women become upset over the penis parading. A good video to cover the whole issue is this

Personally, I'd have thought biting back at a movement that insists there be no public area women and girls can be without the be-penised is quite important. Interesting that Penny's time is not wasted by this performative 'allyship' though;

Does it ever occur to these people the reason the focus is on transwomen is because penises have been used as a weapon against women since time immemorial? The fact no one speaks of transmen is not only do they not endanger women's spaces or have a penis, they only breach the boundaries of men which is not the concern of feminism. I fully support men in guarding their own intimate spaces, gay saunas etc but this is not my fight.

Like 35 clowns into a mini, it's kind of impressive - although starting with the claim one of the 'transphobes' waded into a crowd of people with metal chains wrapped around his fists (sounds totally like a TERF, doesn't it?) and describing how you could hear these chains hit flesh, only to clarify actually it was a Catholic with rosaries is a little bit of a mess.

Id love to see the proof of this. The violence and threats levelled at feminists has ruined lives. I'm yet to see a single threat or attack against a trans activist (let's be clear, it's about the activists and not the people). The deliberate dishonesty is unforgivable.

Helen was one of the two activists persecuted by McDonald's in the 'McLibel' trial. She is an incredible activist, who was also duped by an undercover police officer into a settled relationship until he one day disappeared off the face of the earth.
After defending those handing out leaflets regarding the Gender Recognition Act reform proposals at the anarchist book fair in 2017, she was abused and assaulted (Helens words here, and an excellent summing up here). Since that time, despite her decades of activism, she has been abused as a TERF and ejected from protest camps. By eejits, who have never done anything as brave as she has, and have almost none of the critical analysis, political nous or integrity she has.
This is not about trans rights.
These misogynistic thugs are not antifascist.

She didn't need to do that. The problem is, apart from the fact Allison has been harassed for years now, she has a dog. The dog ate some of the chocolate, and she had to seek veterinary advice. The right side of history swung in to mock her - including the big burly bloke David Paisley, who reported Marion Miller to the police for posting a picture of a ribbon in suffragette colours on some railings, because, to David, it somehow resembled a noose. He then fled his home in terror over unexplained fears of attack.
Katy has made a career out of cultivating a reasonable, "I'll talk to anyone" persona. However this isn't true. It's also quite rich having one of the heads of the pop-trans hydra accuse gender critical feminists of grifting...

Clearly upset by the accusations, Stone has a bit of a liberty considering their history (this is a tiny proportion)
