This takes some real bravery, on my part. But in my quest to be honest and true, I feel the need to do my part in crushing scurrilous rumours, because I refuse to misrepresent people.It is true I think the manner in which Sarah Summers has been treated by TRAs is unconscionable, unforgivable, sickening and very, very telling.
I'm documenting the abuse, but it's an unimaginable volume of spite, and in between I wanted to tell a little background. The involvement of one notorious activist with The Survivor's Network came towards the end of my profile of Sophie Cook, which followed my foray into hate crime advisor Kimberley.
And, I think these people attacking Sarah are normally fully conscious (where brain capacity allows) in their blatant dishonesty.
People who require emotional support dogs and their mummy to defend their own, proactively hostile, shit in court at the age of 34; people who have melt downs at the thought of not putting kids on drug protocols which result in irretrievably stunted sexual function, micro-penises, bone development etc; people who think rapists should never be misgendered etc, they know how it is to walk the earth as one of the most privileged to have ever lived (that is all of us in the west, cheers) and be.. Well, fragile.
Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. I just want to make it clear I do not in any way suggest that the "allies" are chatting shit and have very little real intent of giving up what they demand from others.
I dislike the term 'virtue signalling'. Especially because it most certainly cannot be aimed at the TRA Twitteratti who spend months of every year on twitter being abusive to women and doing the occasional bare minimum to look like they are compelled by love and support.

That's right, rape victims - you may fling scurrilous shit at Lee, for the misogyny and smart arse unpleasantry, but when Lee said he donated £50 he was including the gift aid. I'm sure it's fine, he's a tax payer and subsidising the lot of us blah blah blah.

Allison Bailey could have reported this as a hate crime. As a black lesbian, born to poor, migrant parents, and having been previously targeted, it speaks only to her honesty and integrity that when she learnt it was 'just kids' she reported back to Twitter.
Would Lee do that?
