The Sexual Rights Movement

The Sexual Rights Movement

#SRM

So, first thing first - I got into gender critical feminism via a genuine concern for the people I know and have known - including trans people.

For far too long, I was confused as to why women who appeared to be saying rational, nuanced and inoffensive things were being mercilessly attacked by people I thought of as decent. And after being answered grudgingly with mantras, contradictions in terms, told I should read about it, - I did - I went to 'educate' myself. And everything changed.

Before, I'd held out an embarrassing benefit of the doubt (this was, in reality, doubting my own senses and downplaying my own dignity and safety after a lifetime of gaslighting) for appalling bullying, strawmanning and abuse, watching women being dogpiled and preferring - like Ayesha Hazarika - to be nice, accommodate and concur, or at least keep it quiet.

But that isn't really who I am; I enjoy debate and don't shy away from disagreement. The obvious lies, transparent rhetorical tricks, the repetitive slogans and determined stupidity was burning at me.

So, given all this, I began compiling my own little gallery - almost to remain sure I had seen what I thought I'd seen. The final straw was when I actually thought back to all of the earlier assumptions, self censorship and cognitive dissonance I'd carried for so many years.

After living through decades of abuse from various men, starting from early childhood, I stopped subduing myself with drugs and alcohol and excuses; I got therapy; I learnt to acknowledge the unwitting part I played in my own oppression. And I realised, I wasn't living as the brave and outspoken type I thought I was. I understood I needed to question things more, listen to others, especially other women.

I also realised how deeply damaged I had been by my experience years ago with a purported transwoman. I finally allowed myself to see this person as the man I knew he was. I'd always disliked him, thought his behaviour was shocking and recognised he was scum, but what I hadn't done is speaak, even think, without self censorship. And I suddenly realised how screwed up it had all been, and just how wrong it is.

I had a son, and I realised how crucial my issues were to resolve, lest I pass it onto him and harm another generation.

This essentially boils down to actually showing integrity and bravery, not drunken, projected anger or shouting along with the mob. Listening and thinking a lot, feeling and acknowledging I was scared, and doing it anyway. Because it's the right thing to do.

I had to speak out on the harms of gender identity activism, for more reasons than I can [easily] list.

So this blog sprung up, between myself and my friend. It was meeting her and comparing eerily similar stories I realised what's actually happening to us.

We were both abused as children, both homeless before the age we could leave home legally, both serially sexually abused, drug and alcohol addicted, both accommodated with a sex offender who identified as trans.

Above all, I've met some incredible women. I was staggered at just how much other women, who appear so much better off than me or my friend, go through. I found it so shocking to realise just how atomised, how separate from other women I had become. Because of men. I never knew just how much we shared.

We, as women, can go through life completely unaware of the barriers we have between ourselves and other women. Sisterhood is a precious thing. Same sex spaces are sacred.

Of all the friends I've lost of the way, the vast majority see themselves as allies, rather than being trans. Some of my trans friends have shared this journey to a degree, and are equally angry. I love them more now, and while I won't always agree with them I appreciate their support. I also worry how they too will ultimately be impacted by this insanity.

They are not represented by the activists behaving as grandiose, misogynistic, arrogant, authoritarian maniacs.

What is happening then, if those who actually commit to transition aren't being aided by the most aggressive activism around? I think it's deeply sinister.

As I'm quite the archivist, my devices are overloaded with screenshots of tweets, subreddit posts, Facebook comments. I am trying to sort them into a series of catalogues. There's something about galleries that has a particular impact. While we may be uninhibited on social media (unless you've reason to fear the thought police, like Marion Miller, Maya Forstater, Harry Millar etc) and it may show the worst extremities, it still illustrates a culture that many seek to dismiss.

This blog started with The Rich Fantasy, a list if trans identifying sex offenders, murderers etc. Now, rather than trying to match the exemplary work of Dr Em, Genevieve Gluck or Jennifer Bilek etc, I'm going to focus a little on one powerful element of this movement - sexual entitlement.

There's bound to be a tonne of overlap, but these will all be under #SRM = Sexual Rights Movement. I'm speculatively splitting it up into;

* Rape Victims & The Right Side of History, which is thus far almost entirely made up of responses to my friend and I when speaking about our experiences

* Autogynephilia

* Sissies

* Porn & Kink

* Paedophilia & Bestiality

* Sexual Violence & Misogyny

* Sexualisation of Children

* Breaching Boundaries and Sexual Entitlement

Hopefully these will all be up within the next week or two..

Prisons and same sex facilities

PRISON REFERENCES

The nonsense above is a fairly common bit of rhetoric from trans rights activists. What they fail to consider (or, rather, admit) is the massive disparity in which crimes are committed by men and women. Also, there is the vulnerability of all prisoners, but especially women who have a very high proportion of domestic violence survivors, child abuse survivors and drug addiction which is coexisting with mental health conditions. Women commit far fewer violent crimes and almost no sexual offences when compared to men.

MoJ freedom of information request;

MoJ 2020
The occasions women have been involved in violent sexual offences - Angela Owen, Ghislaine Maxwell, Vanessa George, Rose West, Myra Hindley - they are normally involved with, and in collusion with, men.
The horrendous truth that almost half of trans prisoners are sex offenders is frequently obscured for the sake of easy moral positioning and the portrayal of transwomen in jails as vulnerable.

UPDATED - Using FOI replies, the Census data & parliamentary questions, it was possible to get a much clearer number -

Mar Vickers explains - "So now we have hard counts for sex offenders in prison as of March 2021: 11,660 men and 103 women, plus 92 transwomen.

"So we can match those numbers up to the now-known numbers of transwomen.

11,660 men serving time for sex offences out of 29.5m = 1 in 2530 men

103 women serving the same time out of 30.4 million = 1 in 295,000 women

92 transwomen serving the same time out of 48,000 = 1 in 522 transwomen

"That suggests transwomen are five times more likely than other men, and 566 times more likely than women, to commit sexual offences. That’s not a sample, not a poll, not a survey, not a representative focus group. It’s a hard count."

Sadly, the commonly held, 'progressive narrative means the media routinely omits shocking facts that are extremely pertinent, as I've covered in Transgressions and They say they never feel safe, but who are they?

Prisons are under incredible pressure and 23/24 hr lock up is now the norm in many medium security. No high security prisons for women exist in the UK. What is imperative is that we keep those detained as safe as possible. Mixing sexes is not the way.
  • 48% of female prisoners committed crime to fund another person's drug habit
  • 70% have survived domestic violence in adult relationships
  • 53% of women in prison experienced emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse in childhood

In fact, the sexual abuse in childhood suffered by women in prison is so high it is speculated that it is the leading cause of criminality in women.

"Incarcerated women evidence high rates of both interpersonal trauma and mental illness. In particular, the rates of sexual violence victimization are so high that some researchers have suggested that sexual abuse may be a pathway to prison for women"

Study on post sex-reassigned trans people

This is from a Californian study you can view here

Journal of Criminological Research, Policy and Practice "The link between gender dysphoria and criminality. More research is required to develop a typology of transgender sex offenders and develop actuarial risk instruments. There is no evidence that treatment of gender dysphoria reduces risk and recidivism in transgender sex offenders and that research is required to identify specific gender related dynamic risk factors"

No one should be forced to live alongside someone who endangers them. Prison is not an excuse to wave away the dignity and safety of any inmate, and I would suggest trans people are afforded wings in prisons, their own refuges etc. This however is rejected by many trans activists while still they bemoan the misery of trans inmates

Women in prison are among the most marginalised, traumatised and abused in society and, unlike the trans community, they have next to no voice. We have to change this.

"The ever-increasing tide of referrals of patients in prison serving long or indeterminate sentences for serious sexual offences.
These vastly outnumber the number of prisoners incarcerated for more ordinary, non-sexual, offences.
It has been rather naïvely suggested that nobody would seek to pretend transsexual status in prison if this were not actually the case.
There are, to those of us who actually interview the prisoners, in fact very many reasons why people might pretend this
These vary from the opportunity to have trips out of prison through to a desire for a transfer to the female estate (to the same prison as a co-defendant) through to the idea that a parole board will perceive somebody who is female as being less dangerous through to a [false] belief that hormone treatment will actually render one less dangerous through to wanting a special or protected status within the prison system and even (in one very well evidenced case that a highly concerned Prison Governor brought particularly to my attention) a plethora of prison intelligence information suggesting that the driving force was a desire to make subsequent sexual offending very much easier, females being generally perceived as low risk in this regard."

 ● Isla Bryson

"Concerns have been raised about the safety of other inmates at the all-female Cornton Vale prison in Scotland where it is understood the 31-year-old is being held while she awaits sentencing" - Sky News

● Stephen Wood / Karen White
I would hazard a guess that most of us have heard of Wood/White. For those not familiar, he is a paedophile and rapist who was experimenting with gender reassignment when imprisoned for stabbing his elderly neighbour.
Following, White made use of prison 'inclusion' rules, in part drawn up by convicted paedophile Colin Pike. From there, White sexually assaulted several women

Paris Green
Paris Green was convicted for the horrific murder of a man he lured back to his flat for a drinking session. After beating him and trying him up, Green sexually assaulting the incapacitated man with a rolling pin, and the group sat and ate sandwiches over the victim as he died.

● Katie Dolatowski

Protests held after Katie Dolatowski moved to the all-female prison.
Dolatowski was moved from the male estate after assaulting a fellow inmate. Quite why this is a qualifying factor in living in the women's estate is God's guess.

● Kayleigh Louise Woods
Woods was sharing a flat with young woman Bethany Hills. After Hills split with her boyfriend, he sparked up a relationship with Woods and together they planned her murder. Dolls made as caricatures of Hill were found after her death, where she'd been beaten, tied up and tortured.

● Karen Jones / Lawson
Jones / Lawson was imprisoned for the murder of his boyfriend. Five days after early release he targeted a young woman workingin a shop for transvestite males. He followed her into the store area, forced an object into her mouth and repeatedly tried to rape her. Only his impotence saved the victim, who thought she was going to die

Mark 'Marcia' Walker
Child rapist.
One victim was just four years old.
While in prison has issued numerous terrorist threats, attacked prison guards and hoarded National Geographic issues displaying naked children

● Michelle Lewin
Lewin is a prolific paedophile

● Sophie Eastwood and Alex Stewart

Eastwood was on remand when he garroted his cell mate, killing him. Now identifies as a woman, but also a baby

Stewart was known as Alan Baker (not to be confused with Alan 'Sarah Jane' Baker) murdered dad-of-two John Weir, 36, after inviting him to his home and stabbing him 16 times.

Eastwood and Stewart formed a sexual relationship in jail. After Stewart was moved to a female prison he started a new sexual relationship with Nyomi Fee, who was part responsible for the torture and murder of her stepson, Liam.

● Jessica Winfield/ Martin Pontin
Prolific paedophile, double rapist

Andrew Burns / Tiffany Scott

Paedophile, huge range of disgusting crimes involving violence using his own waste to assault others, stalking and assault

Carried out a sustained period of harassment against his ex girlfriend who had fled with their baby. Death threats. Was released to a woman's hostel

Kidnap and torture, attempted murder, armed robbery. Sexual assault.
Recently emerged the kidnap and torture of a 19 yr man involved Baker forcing the young man to perform oral sex on him and his brother.
Now frequently at protests for trans rights with banners reading 'kill JK Rowling' and charming advice like 'If you see a terf, punch them in the fucking face'.
Sarah Stuart does a brilliant profile of him, here.

"Ella said transgender inmate 'Miriam' had made her feel uncomfortable:
"I’m not saying I’m a prude, but within the first five minutes of meeting [it's] ‘oh aye, that 50 Shades of Grey, that’s too timid, that’s too mild for me’. This is a big heavy man… he’s a big intimidating man."

Ellie said: "If they’re maybe going through the change and they’re on the hormones and that, but, like, she’s still got a f****** willy."

Ellie also revealed that transgender prisoner "Susan" claimed he had abused the system as "he wanted to have sex with loads of lassies"

Emily told Dr Maycock of a transgender prisoner who was still "acting like a man", explaining: "Well, wait a minute, you’ve still got that strength and whatever. You’re still acting like a man here. Like trying to get like authority over you."

Emily said: "And this [transgender inmate]. had been telling the paedophiles how to get over to female jail. That is one thing I won’t stick for, like, a beast to transgender. Don’t come over to a female jail when you raped two lassies."

She added: "I feel like it was a bit of an act. Because she had a beard and she didn’t try. She basically had a short back and sides and …she just looked awful. And she didn’t try cover up her…obviously her down belows or anything like that."

"The study also highlighted concerns that trans women were transitioning back to males after their release, with Isla saying:
"It hurt us, because we tried to help her, we tried to make her feel welcome. I felt personally she was a man wanting an easy escape from the male estate."

Stonewall bullying -

Abroad

🇺🇸America🇺🇸

[Inmate Mimi Le] "explains a female inmate was taken to a medical-administrative building in the facility by staff after other female inmates reported that she had been raped.
 Le describes personally witnessing the woman as being “barely conscious,” and that less than one hour later, she was taken out of her cell on a stretcher under a Code 3 medical alert – one that signifies an inmate is unresponsive and unable to be revived using immediate methods.

Le says she was told by multiple inmates that the woman had been sexually assaulted by Jonathan Roberston, also known as Siyaah Skylit. Robertson was previously the subject of widespread trans activist campaigns attempting to relocate him from a male facility to the women’s institution he is now in. In 2021, Pink News boosted a petition demanding to have Roberston freed from prison."

"Mimi Le has provided a sworn declaration to lawyers at the Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF) to be included in WoLF’s case against the State of California."

"There are 27 convicted male transfers in New Jersey’s only correctional facility for women, Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women (EMCFW). Among them is;
○A sadistic trans-identified male serving a 50-year sentence for the brutal murder of a sex trafficked immigrant woman. Perry Cerf admitted to raping and killing Flor Andrade and was found driving her car and wearing her clothing. Cerf, who now is listed as a “female” and uses the name “Michelle Hel-Loki Angelina,” told of drinking the woman’s blood “so I could allow this person to live vicariously through myself.”
○Jimmy Brooks, a serial child sex abuser also listed as a “female”. 10 counts of sexual assault against a victim under the age of 13.
Brandon Heaton, convicted on two counts of possession of child pornography. Once again, Heaton’s biological sex is listed as “female”, and like Brooks, Heaton has not even bothered to adopt a female name.
Neither have two other transfers,
○Jeydon Lowe
○Zachery Hoger

○Neil Labranche, who is serving a 30-year sentence for the fatal beating of a man with cerebral palsy and is now going by Nikita May Selket.

○Leslie Wilson, born Glen, gunned down two police officers in pursuit of a “bloody revolution” and is serving 30 years to life.

Additionally, two women inmates have become pregnant while in prison as a result of relations with Demitrius Minor, a man who began identifying as a woman called “Demi.”

Sexual abuse within the jail is "so severe that a man who self-declared a female gender identity (Raequan “Rae” Rollins) was last year transferred out of EMCFW"

50% of trans inmates in federal custody for sex offences

"The concern among staff and inmates is a risk of sexual assault.
The employee cites a recent incident in which an inmate from a male facility raped a female in the women’s prison upon arrival. The transferred inmate, according to the employee, is incarcerated for a sex offense and has “fully functional male genitalia, a history of violence and sexual depravity in the community, and has been found guilty of sexual assault against other inmates while housed in the men’s facilities.” “He is a proven sexual predator, having committed multiple crimes against women, yet the State of Washington had no problem moving him into a women’s facility and housing him with the most vulnerable in our population (our mental health unit),” the employee wrote.

Toronto Sun - Study finds nearly 45% of trans-women offenders convicted of sex crimes

A shocking new Correctional Service of Canada study has revealed that 44% of male-to-female transgender inmates are behind bars for sexual offences.

- "A woman has filed a human rights complaint against a Toronto shelter for female recovering addicts, claiming staff forced her to share a small double room with a pre-operative male-to-female transgender person.

The formal complaint followed Kristi Hanna’s efforts to inquire about her own legal rights in this unusual situation, only to be told by Ontario’s Human Rights Legal Support Centre that, by describing her new roommate as a “man,” Hanna was the one engaged in illegal discrimination"

Canadian women's groups demanding removal of male inmates from women's prison - "There have been sexual assaults, there have been physical assaults, there has been sexual harassment, there have been pregnancies, there have also been STD scares because several of the transfers have HIV," said Mason. "There is no requirement for you to have changed your birth certificate, there is no requirement of hormones or surgery, you don't even need to be living as a woman prior to incarceration. You can apply to a transfer regardless of your crime, it's solely based on your gender identity."

Trans killers, baby rapists, terrifying female inmates

Michael Williams - HUNTER: 'Psychopathic' child sex killer uses trans card "When 17 (and nicknamed 'Pyro') he raped and murdered Nina Courtepatte at a golf course with several others.

She was 13-years-old. Nina was strangled, stabbed and then bludgeoned to death with a hammer. Pyro even tried to set the dying girl on fire.... Now, Williams self-identifies as a woman although one source said his nod to the fairer sex is cursory at best. “He is now awaiting transfer to FVI (a women’s prison)"

Williams was previously at the women's facility but was moved for sexual impropriety. "Williams remains a fully-intact male and "only takes hormone replacement therapy drugs two weeks a month so he can maintain an erection""

Canadian politician and trans activist Morgane Oger described a trio of sex assaults allegedly committed by Williams as “false allegations.” Oger encouraged the sex killer to seek a transfer to [a women’s prison] “She tweeted: “Trans women are simply unsafe in men’s prisons.”

"As The Sun has recently reported, the criteria for a male jailbird to declare themselves trans is woefully thin. Five questions. That’s it. And the inmates being transferred are sometimes violent sexual predators who have suddenly seen the error of their ways"

An unnamed trans woman "A Québec City transgender parent who sexually assaulted her young daughter will be serving a sentence in a women’s jail after undergoing a sex change between the time of the crime and the conviction... She was sentenced to 18 months for sexual assaults carried out when she was still a man.

The 33-year-old — the victim’s biological father — had pleaded guilty to crimes when the girl was just three.

The Crown was seeking between 18 months and two years behind bars, while the defence had recommended 60 days to be served on weekends and community service for the woman, who had no previous criminal record."

Matthew 'Madilyn' Harks - "A 2006 psychiatric assessment said Harks has an “all-encompassing preoccupation in sexually abusing young girls.” Harks has admitted to the sexual assault of more than 60 girls under the age of eight.

"And when the monster began living as a woman in 2014, the parole board dropped several conditions of her supervision.

That included psychiatric treatment.

But whether Harks has had any hormone treatments or surgery to complete her quest to be a woman is unknown"

The 'your problem is with predatory men and NOT trans women!' and other mic-drops which leave us TERFs feeling silly

Somewhere, online, a conversation has begun over self id, gender neutral toilets or changing rooms or trans women in women's prisons and refuges. Have a look, you will find one happening now, which sounds almost exactly like this;

🙎‍♀️A woman, probably - 'I'm not against anyone living how they want to; I don't want to add to any oppression trans people face. I just don't think it's ok to open the doors to women's spaces, on the self identification of males. Because it is males who endanger us all'

🏳️‍🌈Gender ideologue - 'So, you think trans women are men? Do you have any idea how bigoted and out of date that is?'

🙎‍♀️Woman - 'No, no! I don't call transwomen men, I just...'

🏳️‍🌈Gen Id - 'Have a primary kid's understanding of biology*? Don't know that brain scans of trans and cis women's match*? Don't understand that gender isnt the sa...'

🙎‍♀️Woman, a little more tense - 'No, don't misrepresent me, please. This is a complex subject'

🏳️‍🌈Gen Id - 'Not really. Trans women are women'

(Let's pause here, for a moment. Go have a look at some online interactions. Check the level of hostility. Look at who is strawmanning who. Observe who seems to have room for doubt, and who has all the answers in snappy slogans - which even if they can't explain themselves, they're sure to have an article which can, and a study from somewhere they claim to have read and understood)

(*The brain scan and biology nonsense will have to wait for another day)

🙎‍♀️Woman - 'What I'm saying is, how do we know? How can I tell who is potentially a danger?'

🏳️‍🌈Gen Id - 'Do you think that signs on doors stop rapists? Maybe every door should say 'please don't rape', and no one would be we'd live in a safe society!'

🙎‍♀️Woman - 'No but there's are reasons we have different toilets, and safety is one, isn't it?'

🏳️‍🌈Gen Id - 'Do you have a man's toilet and a woman's toilet at home, or is it used by everyone?'

🙎‍♀️Woman (increasingly irritated) - 'I know who is in my house, I control who comes in and just one person a time uses it. I feel like allowing anyone to walk in is dangerous, and these things have happened to people before..'

🏳️‍🌈GI - 'No! They haven't! What HAS happened is trans women getting beaten up and raped in men's toilets. But thats ok with you?'

🙎‍♀️W - 'Of course it's not, I just feel like it makes women's spaces meaningless if anyone who feels like it can walk in, whichever sex. I feel like men will abuse it and ...'

🏳️‍🌈Gen Id - 'Your problem is with predatory men, NOT TRANS WOMEN!'

BOOM. At this stage you'll probably find a deluge of love and care reacts have landed on Gen Id's comment. A meme, maybe about TERFs, has appeared. Likely the conversation has stopped. That may be because progress looks unlikely, which is true.

And yet, Charlie, men have given up their whole lives to become priests, teachers, scout leaders, coaches, to access victims. And having an accounting / business / finance degree is no testament to good intention, not to mention you definitely don't need to put in four years to self identify. Men lie about their identity to trick people ALL THE TIME. Ted Bundy used to have his arm in a sling and manipulate women with a story he was too incapacitated to load groceries into the back of his truck. Good god, listen to yourselves

It's genuinely difficult to stand up against this barrage of pre-scripted replies and a person who finds a way of glossing over or avoiding every point. Who has had ample experience of picking through your words to select anything that could be misconstrued, to derail you.

This is a 'debate' that is dress rehearsed hundreds of times a day, and those who have seen a few might well feel uncomfortable in running the risk of being seen as unkind, being painted into a corner and ridiculed as hysterical. The onus is always on the woman to prove she is not acting out of hate. And she cannot win it; they will find a way to portray her as hateful. They will ridicule her, accuse her of using dog whistles, or they will reply with insults and an instant block.

It's a bizarrely powerful expectation that we, as women, are to be the kind ones, the ones who should be moved to compassion and sharing. To kiss every scraped knee. The tropes that run against 'bad' women are older than the hills.

Difficult women, who convey their abject misery by being mean, spiteful, frigid, uptight or by happily putting it about but not to all. The Witch, the Bitch and the Whore.

Worthless, old, cruel and always in the fucking way. Past it and obsessed with genitals, with other people's sex lives like a slut shaming voyeur.

'Sex positive feminism' - where, luckily, all the punters are accommodated.

This is especially potent if you have any leaning toward socialism or an eye on social justice. The idea that you, uppity bitch, are hoarding your privilege and denying dignity and safety to this tiny, vulnerable, victimised community is sometimes too much to bear.

'TERF' - that word which centres women as the prime aggressor and oppressor of trans people - it's often used as synonymous with white supremacy, isn't it? It's the vindictive white woman who falsely accuses black boys of rape, smiling as their nooses are hitched up the tree.

It's all of the stigmas above. It's colonialism, apparently, enforcing strict gender roles on innocent, peaceful native folk who had more understanding of the gendered soul. It's leaving Rosa Parks to bloody well stand up at the back of the bus and even driving a gay son to suicide.

In many ways, it's even worse; it's hatred of men.

Because, if we look beyond sound bites, it's a well worn and familiar characterisation, but it's not logical. 'TERFs' are often lesbians, including those who really go out of their way to hurt men - by refusing any penis, even it identifies otherwise.

The liberal feminism of corporate America is fun. It might be a pain in the arse sometimes, but it also takes it up the arse, which clearly makes all the difference.

The corporate feminism of 'sex work is real work', that keeps itself busy 'liberating' women and girls*. Women and girls who may be escorting a man to that business dinner and then up to his hotel room, or dancing in a g-string while they have drinks: but, there's probably another woman there who's on the board, which is feminism!
The brave 'sex work is real work' right-on good persons, who don't personally want to do it, but 'won't judge those who do!' Who say 'you go girl!' and 'fuck SWERFs' with wide eyed excitement.

(*Those girls, who are also often the poorest. Who normally first start while still in their teens, often become addicts and are extremely likely to have been abused in childhood and adulthood. Who is paying exorbitant fees to a business which is probably male run, or perhaps to a brothel owner who sells themselves as a progressive, keeping women safe. Often, it's a boyfriend. A boyfriend who couldn't possibly cope with all the inherent liberation of bending over and thinking of equality on instruction)

This capitalist repackaging that prides itself in equality by pasting BLM frames on profile pictures, rainbow flags and Pride events, but doesn't like to talk about period huts, child marriage or FGM. Which should, FYI, be just 'Genital Mutilation'. Because not every vulva belongs to a woman (see here for the abuse FGM survivors receive from trans activists) It also tends to incubate in the young as self-declared anti-fascism, as communism or (and sometimes also) anarchy. Cos that's a fairly easy state to achieve, while maintaining equality... And it looks so radical and edgy.

I'm sure it stands up against some racism, the sexism of some adverts or excesses of particular movie producers. But would it be ok, good even, if the actresses were paid, not just bribed into putting out? Is there actually a difference? And its reach beyond capitalist systems? These, I would argue, are minimal. They take our words and spaces, they sell them back to us as better, more accessible and generic.

Building a hierarchy of individuals is fine if it's upside down. It's iconoclastic! Refreshing, huh?!

The fact that trans people in the U.K. are more likely to be convicted of murder than be the victim of it; That the murder rate of trans people in America is, according to Wilfred Riley at Kentucky state university 'surprisingly low' - 1.48 out of a 100,000 - significantly lower than that of men, who are murdered 6.68 to every 100,00. And a fraction of black men, who are murdered at a rate of 18.8 (please see Sex, Lies and an Invidious Landscape for more on this).

When we know that most American trans people are white males and earn above $50,000 a year, that supposed vulnerability looks different. But hush. This could be seen as 'misleading'.

How anarchic is it to have hate crime laws which stifle discussion? To scream down meetings of women who have concerns about newly written law? How anti-fascist, feminist or democratic is it to be excluding women who say factual, sometimes inconvenient, counter-narrative things, from political parties? Or screaming them down and using threats of sexual violence? Or portraying them as guilty when one non-binary male kills a trans woman? How socialist is the surgical and pharmaceutical industry? How on earth does post-modernist gender ideology, which posits (unobservable, self described) gender is the only metric worth considering, certainly more than natal sex, sit alongside a Marxist philosophy that holds material analysis as central? How does the anti-establishment cloak of gender activism manage to hide all of the gaudy sponsor stickers from Coca-Cola, Disney, Exxon Mobil, Google, Amazon and 89% of the Fortune 500?

In Marxism, the material is key (Queering marxism - the wokest pantomime). The systems, ideas, the rules and laws are based entirely on the material; the observable. If they contradict the material facts it is untenable, it fractures, crumbles and breaks. These absolutist, unwavering and unwittingly ideological fools who reel off their ego-grooming politics with acronyms, catchphrases, esoteric-sounding terms do not have a fucking clue.

How does gender ideology fight against racism while consistently using racist, masculine stereotypes against black women? When it places trans and black women together, constantly, in a 'same difference' narrative? When refugees who have suffered and campaign against FGM are consistently berated for using the word female?

Mainly, to return to the point - How do we tell who is a predatory man and who is a trans woman? At what stage do I get to call out the person following too close behind me? Who touches me, maybe accidentally? Who pushes the toilet or changing room door open on me? If you're in that bar, when I shout and object, will you wait to hear what's happened before jumping to proud, ideological conclusions?

Of the hundreds, probably thousands, of sex offenders who have used a trans identity, how many have made their trans identity revoked? Karen White still gets female pronouns. So does Katie Dolotowski. So does Jessica Yaniv. It's funny how it slides from the predator vs trans narrative to 'Karen White is just a bad person, a danger with or without a penis'? isn't it odd how that slippery slope from disbelief, denial to defence always happens?

Trying to educate this lovely guy on that being exactly what proper single sex spaces are for was a lost cause.

Morgane Oger gleefully forced the end of funding for the only single sex rape support in Canada

How do we tell? Or are we just human shields and collateral damage? How many women and children can be raped in this brave new world before we give this some thought?

Contrary to what are normally core tenets of social justice, this comes from a staggering lack of compassion, and breathtakingly privileged talking down. I've yet to speak to one gender ideologue who has been in prison or in a refuge; who has been left to sleep on the streets, with no parents ready to helicopter in.

Women are not ok, we are raped and murdered by men. We are primed to be 'kind', acquiescent, to conform and not make a scene. I have been raped, beaten, homeless, and I have been afraid for much of my life.

My only respite has been age, which is now used against me, to shame, discount and dismiss me as past it, of not understanding. After decades, since I was a small girl, of weird, creeping men, of men who think I owe them because of a drink or a lift, or sexual assault in crowded gigs, or being raped, or being followed and groped. Unable to walk home at night. Scared of walking up the road because of the shouts the builders make every day, and walking round the long way. Or walking with my keys poking through the fingers of my clenched fists. Of watching what i wear, of crossing the road when a man walks behind me. Of talking loudly about my boyfriend who's coming to meet me now. Or locking the windows on a hot night. Of never camping out alone. Of self defence classes and learning to take down my ponytail or make a man look at me as I try to talk and humanise myself. To let him know I've seen his face. To know when to leave a house or a party.

My spaces are not your refuges to usher in the miscellaneous vulnerable, so you can feel benevolent and righteous. Your quick, jingoistic phrases shows your closed mind. Your instant self-satisfaction with your role in this is a terrible tell. We all know it. You don't have a clue.
