'Misgendering' Chris Chan
Chris Chan is a niche internet personality with one hell of a muddled, grotty backstory. He is clearly without self awareness, has been relentlessly trolled, duped by supposed love interests and accused of sexual harassment. Rose of Dawn does a good rundown here in her Pillars of the Community series and this on Glinner's substack is a great summing up.
After being accused of raping his elderly, dementia-suffering mother, with claims there is video evidence and an admission, some drop the pretence and refer to Chris as 'he'.
How many stories of this kind of intra-familial sexual abuse do you hear of which involve a woman as the abuser?
Here's the response. It doesn't matter what someone has done - pronouns must be respected. Calling for someone's execution is fine, 'misgendering' is an unforgivable crime against all trans people everywhere.
Apparently, correctly sexing a rapist (Chris Chan has not been found guilty, but this is the rhetoric which springs up every time a trans sex offender is in the news) is as bad as using racial slurs.
The minimising, diversion of attention from the absolutely horrifying claims, as well as the determined effort to make any single 'trans' person part of trans people as a whole, is cultish, bizarre and depraved. I could have collected many times the number I did, and the news broke just over 3 hours ago.
I can only hope his poor mother is now safe and can recover. Why does the 'community' stand so vehemently in defence of those accused of these most despicable crimes?
